A subtle Olive Green is the main color theme but the most elaborate part of this design are the different shades.
Color shading is a very difficult technique in hand painted ceramics that requires years of experience.
The Foglie design feature a foliated scrollwork motif that was employed in the architectural decorations of late Roman and Renaissance periods.
