cakes. The interior of these specialized “cakes” could either be “plain” or filled with
candied fruit, raisins, chocolate or flavoured cream. The exterior can either be “plain”
or covered with icing sugar (the pandoro), chocolate or caramelized sugar and
almonds (the colomba).

Colomba Tre Marie - In Italy, Easter just wouldn't be complete without the dove-
shaped Easter cake called Colomba. Baked in a lovely dove-shaped mold, Colomba
has a melt-in-your-mouth delicacy that pairs beautifully with a glass of prosecco or

How to serve:

Serve Tre Marie Panettone with milk, coffee, tea or a sweet dessert wine, such as Vin
Santo. Delicious toasted for breakfast or as a mid day snack, it has the ideal flavor
and airiness for French toast or bread pudding. Panettone is soft, fresh and known for
its exceptional texture and flavor!!

Le Tre Marie Pandoro and Le Tre Marie Panettone are delicious traditional Italian
sweet yeast breads, most popular around Christmas and other special occasions, but
can be eaten all the year round.

Le Tre Marie Pandoro is shaped like a fluted cone....or better yet, it is shaped like a
Christmas tree!! Before eating, sprinkle with icing sugar, then using a serrated knife,
